On the hill, near the sea

Very nice stay in the Gargano at residence Il Porto. Fantastic view and very nice staff. Excellent breakfast. A very good choice to explore the Gargano also if you are a family (the resort has appartments and a pool)

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Hotel in late September. That is an absolutely perfect time to go, the weather is still great and the summer crowds are gone. We rented a Junior Suite that had an incredible picture post card view, and we were "forced" to enjoy breakfast on our patio overlooking the harbor. The staff at both the hotel and the restaurant were top notch, very friendly and committed to making sure you enjoyed your stay. We ate in the restaurant both nights for dinner, and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was fantastic, the wine list had delicious local wines at very reasonable prices, and the service friendly, attentive and totally non rushed. The only problem we encountered was the property does not show up on your car GPS!!! So either use Google maps or just head to Mattinata and you will find it!!!!
